GPL in jeopardy as court adjourns GFA/Great Olympics case
The rift between GFA and Accra Great Olympics over the relegation to division one issue has become gross to the extent that court has to adjourn their case.
An Accra High Court has adjourned the case between the Ghana Football Association(GFA) and Accra Great Olympics to Wednesday 21st February after the Wonder Club sued the FA regarding their demotion to the Division One.
Lawyers of the two parties were present after which the trial judge adjourned the case to next week.
Accra Great Olympics believes Bechem United fielded an unqualified player when they met in the GPL and has challenged the FA from escaping relegation.
The wonder club secured a court injunction against the League last week which prevented the FA and the PLB from launching the Ghanaian topflight.
The League will continue to delay unless the two parties come to terms with the case.
