Former NPP New York Organiser has asked Ghanaians to disregard a tape circulating both traditional and social media purported to have been recorded by Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister.

He believed some masked person from the position party have used a new “app” to edit the voice of the Ashanti Region Minister who has no intention to insult any tribe.

He indicated that, the said tape does not only cast aspersions to the integrity of Northerners and Muslims but also to Ghana’s political ethics.

The former NPP New York Organiser said this on Sehwi Wiawso based Lord 101.7 FM “Adekye Mu Nsem” morning show host by Kwame Kontor Boateng today Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

He said anyone who has worked closely with Hon. Simon Osei Mensah for quite sometime can indubitably vouch for his candor, calmness, Indiscrimination and ‘welcoming’ personality. “It therefore beats my imagination of how the tape in question is said to have emanated from this gentle political, which electronic media or print media did he grant the interview”, he added.

He said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is gradually repairing the damage caused by the previous administration but wanted to divert attention of the public.

“My advice to the upcoming politicians should be mindful of the choice of words use for our leaders just to become popular, liaising insult is the best but should reminded “don’t go and insult to become popular that will give you tomorrow”, slow down and build your life in a successful way and surely Allah will bless you” he said.
