The Future Of Black Stars Does Not Look Good – Sammy Osei Kuffour

Samuel Osei Kuffour said Ghana Football needs a football director who understand the game to come out with a future plans for the Black Stars if we want the team to win an AFCON trophy.

Former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour, has thrown cold water on the future of the Black Stars, stating the future of the senior National team the Black Stars of Ghana does not look good because we are not developing youth football.

He said the future of the Ghana Football is the youth,  hence the nation must invest in youth football, and it would go a long way to help raise talent for the Copuntry.

Samuel Osei Kuffour said Ghana Football needs a football director who understand the game to come out with a future plans for the Black Stars if we want the team to win an AFCON trophy.

In an interview with the press, the former AS Roma centre back suggested that the team should rather concentrate on winning the AFCON 2021

According to him, it will be a daunting task to win AFCON 2019, hence the need to grow the game in order for the team to win the ultimate in 2021.

The coach should be allowed to put in place his plan, system and concept that will win the Nation the trophy, he conclude.
