Bartos Smarslik finished 3rd at the Polish Grand Prix in Corso and strengthened his position as the leader of the general classification of the series. Here is what he said after the match.

Bardos Smarslik did not disappoint in the Grand Prix round on his home track. The Polish representative could not win, but he showed himself from a good side and took a spot on the lowest step of the stage.

– It was a double hard match for me because suddenly unexpected situations appeared and it started to rain. A tough but beautiful evening, because the most important things have been done – said Zmarzlik in an interview with Eurosport.

The two-time world champion said the weather conditions he mentioned had a big impact, especially in the first heats, and riders complained that once the rain was over, there was no space to restore the track to a better condition.

– The route is heavy and very demanding. In addition, it was very difficult to find the path and settings for the start. However, in general, I was in control of everything and I scored well – he said.

In addition to Zmarzlik, there were two other contestants on stage representing the colors of Moje Bermuda Stall Corso. – Well done. I’m glad I was able to stand on stage with my team, and it’s beautiful. We did our best for Corso! – he said.

Currently, he is 18 points ahead of Polish representative Leon Matson, who is second in the general rankings. Will it have any impact on him?

– I did not see it. I focus only on myself and only on doing the next round good for me – concluded Bartosz Zmarzlik.
