In a balance made available to Lusa regarding the first results of the AUTOvoucher voucher, an official source in the Ministry of Finance said that 2,900 gas stations have joined the program, representing 90% of the total, having processed "145,000 refunds in the first two days".  AUTOvoucher means payment to private consumers, via a bank account, to subsidize 10 cents per liter of fuel up to a maximum of 50 liters per month.
In practice, IVAucher and AUTOvoucher work as follows:

premium: Payment is made in full with a payment card from a participating entity.
IVAucher Benefits: Up to 50% of the amount paid will be refunded within two business days, to the account associated with the card used for payment.  The tax identification number (TIN) associated with the card holder must match the tax identification number (TIN) of the benefit holder.
Automatic Coupon Benefits: Refunded in the amount of 10 cents per liter up to a maximum of 50 liters per month in the Auto Coupon Balance in the account associated with the card used for payment.

This support for families is part of a broader package of measures to mitigate the impact of higher fuel prices that also includes businesses, especially those involved in transporting goods and passengers.  The package also includes subsidizing the transportation of passengers on public roads (taxis and buses) in the amount of 10 cents per liter of fuel, with a maximum of 380 liters per month for taxis and 2,100 liters per month for buses.
The procedure runs from November 1 to March 31, and translates into a "check" of 190 euros for taxis and 1,050 euros for buses.
However, it was decided to extend the annual limit on eligible liters of professional diesel for the full return of the ISP, which is currently set at 35,000 liters per year for shipping companies.
