Sporting and Famalicao have, in the past few hours, agreed on the final details that will lead Manuel Ugarte to boost the Lions for the next five seasons.
As A BOLA reported in its edition yesterday, the agreement between the two parties is protracted because SAD Leonina, as happened in the Bruno Tabata deal with Portimonense, wanted to set deadlines and values for the purchase of the percentage of the future sale that Famalicão would hold under this agreement.
Unlike what happened a year ago, with Pedro Gonçalves, transferred for 6.5 million euros but with SAD Famalicense keeping half of the future deal, without any agreement to buy the remaining 50 percent, in the case of Ugarte, as happened with Tabata, Sporting set the dates and values to become In the future 100% owner.
Thus, according to the data collected by our newspaper, the Lions will pay 6.5 million euros for the pass of the Uruguayan midfielder for 20 years. However, for every 30 Ugarte matches in the Lions’ starting line-up, Sporting opens an agreement window, with €2m for every 10% stake.
