James Rodriguez, former Everton player, was officially revealed today at his new club, Al Rayyan, from Qatar.

In the first statement, the Colombian international was satisfied and ambitious: “I am happy to be here. I haven’t played for a long time. I thought about this for several days. I hope to achieve things, I did not rest easily, I want to win titles ».

The former Porto star admitted that the priority is to achieve good physical condition: “I haven’t trained for several days, I want to stay healthy and train well to be able to play. If I am not at 100 per cent, it will be difficult and I want to be ready to come back, if The coach wanted.

As for his ambitions, Rodriguez has no limits: “I want to win everything, be able to compete every three days and help the team play well. When you can’t win, you’re worthless. That’s what I want now.”

Al Rayyan Stadium is part of the stages in which the World Cup will be held, something that the midfielder likes: “It is good, but it is not necessary to think about the future. This is my team and I hope to play soon.”

James Rodriguez expressed his happiness with the change and was optimistic: “I really like the whole culture, football is growing a lot and I can develop with them too. I will be able to play with rhythm.”
