Appears in an obituary in Aftenposten on Saturday. The announcement said the funeral took place in silence at Terry’s request. Christiansen died on October 27, three days before he turned 77.
Christiansen is known for films such as “Høvdingen”, “Løperjenten” and “Hud”. Christiansen is married to director, actress, and author Vibeki Löckberg and has produced most of her films, including the 2010 documentary Gaza Tears.
In 1984 he wrote a script, produced, directed and acted in the movie “The President”.

He starred in several NRK TV shows in the 1970s, and was the recording director for “Rain” and the screenwriter for “Revelation” – both directed by Løkkeberg. Other films in which he has participated include “The Unbearable Lightness of Life” and “Seagulls”.
Terje Kristiansen served as Director of Cinema and Cultural Director at Municipal s from 1970 to 2008 and was at the time Norway’s youngest film director.
In 1980 he started the production company Åsfilm and five years later The Norway Film, which produced, among other things, “The Mosquito Coast”, “Mio, my Mio” and “The Magician”. In the late 1990s, Imax started at Aker Brygge which showed 3D movies.
In 2012, he was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. Lockberg and Christiansen have two daughters. Terry Christiansen also left two sons from a previous marriage.
