A sixth child was confirmed dead, Tuesday evening, Norwegian time, after an SUV exploded in a crowd of people in the town of Waukesha on Sunday.

The other dead were four women, aged between 52 and 79, and an 81-year-old man.

Among the injured, police earlier confirmed that two children were fighting to survive after being seriously injured after the collision.

The offender is Daryl Brooks Jr. He appeared in court for the first time on Tuesday after Sunday’s attack. He was charged with five counts of premeditated murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

According to authorities, more than 60 people were injured in the attack, many of whom remained in critical condition on Tuesday. The city is in mourning after the fatal accident.

On Monday evening, an indictment was issued for the murder of 39-year-old Daryl E. Brooks, who police believe is the culprit behind the tragedy.

They believe Brooks was a fugitive when the crime occurred.

“At this point, the Waukesha Police Department reports five cases of first-degree premeditated murder, with additional charges based on the investigations,” Waukesha District Police Chief Dan Thompson said at a news conference Monday evening.

According to the police, several charges may be brought, but they believe Brooks acted alone. There should be no talk of terrorism.

According to the doctors, 18 patients between the ages of 3 and 6 were admitted to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Among them are three husbands and brothers.
