Milan host Juventus this Sunday and will have to win in order not to let Inter, with whom they are fighting for Serie A, to escape.

Stefano Pioli, 56, is the man who preceded the good moment in Milan, and in an interview with him Watchmanhe says that no one is closer than his mother to remind him that Milan is close, as never before, to throwing a party.

The coach admits that he has a close fatherly relationship with many players, and has to deal with youngsters like Tonali, Vlahovic (from Fiorentina) or Rafael Leao. “Yes, I try to see beyond the surface. Start from the value and go to the person. Even these boys, whom we call lucky to make a lot of money, are still young people with difficulties, romantic relationships and fears”, he explains.

And speaking of joy, the Italian coach laughs and he has the best example: Leão. Pioli is described as a player who smiles even when he steps up to an opponent. “At first I got a little worried. Then I realized that this is a normal thing that happened while playing, it’s an involuntary gesture to your face. And that’s beautiful, it’s nice to be yourself”, he explains.

“Fun in football is key. It is something we look for. We try to be as serious as possible, committed and professional, but football is passion and fun. When you train at a very young age, you need to put all their enthusiasm on the field”, he adds.
