yOn the afternoon of Wednesday, February 23, Oana Pereira used her official Instagram account to share news about her health condition with her followers.
She was still in the hospital in the burn unit, and with her long recovery, Rita Pereira’s sister received positive news.
He stressed that “the doctor said that my skin has improved a lot,” referring in particular to the burns in the chest area.
“It’s still not certain that the arm doesn’t need surgery, but the chest is really a lot better and there’s still hope for the arm,” he adds.
Joanna sustained severe burns to her chest, arms and hands as a result of an accident over a week ago with a bio-ethanol heater.
Finally, Rita Pereira’s younger sister left her sincere thanks to her followers for the support she has received in recent days. “You guys have helped a lot. The nurses were so happy to say it was an amazing development and I know it was you and your energy. Thank you very much,” he concluded.
