Ilum Escola de Ciência has released the list of those who have been approved in the selection process for first grade at a Bachelor’s degree institution in Science, Technology and Innovation. The list is now available at Internet For consultation. Accredited students must register between March 3 and 6, online or in person at the school secretary.

The institution is part of CNPEM (National Center for Research in Energy and Materials). With 943 enrollments in the process, only 40 students were selected from all regions of the country. Classes start next Monday (7).

The Science, Technology and Innovation course at Ilum is free, recognized by the MEC (Ministry of Education) with a degree from Inep (National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira).

From the start of the course, students have access to the school’s advanced teaching laboratories, with equipment such as atomic force, optical tunnels and microscopes, Raman spectrometers, computer and wet laboratories. The course also includes immersion in CNPEM, the largest research infrastructure in the country, where they will have direct contact with frontier researchers and scientific works, and will be able to use state-of-the-art laboratories to develop their projects.

All those approved will receive free housing, food, and transportation to school and the CNPEM campus. Students who wish to occupy kitchenettes from the third, when the registration period begins. Students will also receive, at the beginning of the course, a laptop computer with all the software needed for their academic routine.
