Samsung positions itself as one of the global leaders in the gaming monitor market. Wanting to maintain this state of affairs, it introduced a new screen that is the first in the world to combine two main features.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 combines 4K and 240Hz

We are talking about the first screen on the market that comes with a resolution of 4K and a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. It’s called the Odyssey Neo G8 (G85NB) and promises realistic picture quality, fast response times, and superior performance.

This monitor features a VA curved panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K), with Quantum Matrix technology. Added to this is the aforementioned 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time.

Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 has Quantum Mini LED technology

This resolution is supported for up to 95% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum. It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and Quantum Mini LED technology to control all available LED lights.

Quantum HDR 2000 combined with 2000 nits of peak brightness promise to give you the immersion you need. With CoreSync, the colors revealed on the screen are displayed on the back for added immersion.

It has a matte display technology, to better protect you from reflections. Its base is height adjustable and can be rotated or tilted. It also has VESA support, which gives users the ability to customize their settings.

When it comes to connectivity, you can count on Display Port 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and two USB3.0 ports.

This monitor is priced at $1,499.
