To drop the curtain on the Youth National Championship, which Sporting had already won, the Sports Academy hosted a classic match against FC Porto that provided goals and a comeback for the Greens and Whites, who won 3-2.

Although no longer playing for any competitive goal, FC Porto played for his pride and took the lead, near the end of the first half, with a well-made throw in to be finished by Thiago Andrade.

Sporting returned ready not to lose its unbeaten record at this stage of the competition, and came strong in the second half, and managed to turn the table with two goals separated by the same number of minutes: Manuel Mendonca, with a precise touch on the field. Zone (72′), and Vivaldo Semedo (74′), with an excellent shot on the edge of the zone, put the lions in front of the check mark, but Porto did not give up.

Indeed, in the 84th minute, the Blues and the Whites leveled the match again in a very good rise from Luis Gomez in a small area for the sake of equality. However, Sporting wanted to celebrate…and they did.

The clock was already ticking over 90+6 minutes when Adair Kandala turned the blue and white nets down, confirming Sporting’s victory at the dedication meeting, after which the Lions raised the trophy.
