The Chinese Football Association announced today, Wednesday, that Brazilian soccer player Henrique Dorado was suspended for one year and fined 29,000 euros, after colliding with a referee during a match in the Chinese Super League.

The striker, who played in Brazil for clubs such as Santos, Fluminense, Flamengo or Palmeiras, was sent off after the incident. His team, which was leading with a score of 2 – 0, ended in a draw.
“We hope that together they can all maintain the good order of competition and the environment necessary for the development of football,” the Chinese Football Association said in the announcement of the suspension.
This is not the first time that the federation has imposed severe penalties on a player for misconduct.
In 2017, another Brazilian player was suspended: Oscar, who was signed by Shanghai SIPG from Chelsea for 60 million euros, was suspended for eight matches for causing clashes between his teammates and players of the opposing team during a match.
