There has never been as much talk of energy/electricity as there is today. Prices are rising significantly, largely due to the war between Russia and Ukraine, and governments have implemented measures to help taxpayers.

In Portugal, according to government measures, only the first 100 kWh of consumption is covered by the reduction of the value-added tax on electricity to 6%. What can I connect?

Electricity: 100 kWh as the contracted energy does not exceed 6.9 kWh
According to Deco Proteste and the Association of Liberal Market Energy Merchants (ACEMEL), the VAT deduction should be translated into savings per month in the range of € 1.08 to € 1.62, for a couple with two sons.
Also, according to Deco Proteste, 100 kWh of electricity consumption does not correspond to much.  If the couple has a contract whose contracted capacity does not exceed 6.9 kVA, it is possible to have a 24-hour refrigerator, a dishwasher and a washing machine, each with three washing machines per week, one TV running four hours a day and lighting the house The output of five 10-watt lamps for six hours per day, reaching a consumption of 99.08 kilowatt-hours per month.

the channel ECO / Capital Verde has produced a small table where the type of household appliances and their monthly consumption in terms of electricity can be known, reaching 100 kWh of electricity consumption.  In the case when the household uses an induction hob for cooking and a computer, then the monthly consumption already reaches approximately 150 kWh.

It should be noted that from October 1 to the end of the year, all consumers whose contracted capacity does not exceed 6.9 kVA (equivalent to about 5.3 million consumers) pay VAT at only 6% on the electricity level.
