Diogo Marquez then recounted the circumstances behind his growth: “My father was always absent because of his profession, the relationship with my mother was shaken up and they ended up breaking up. That’s when I somehow clung to my grandmother, my grandmother was a mom, dad, and boyfriend, and that was it. You treated me like a son“.

The exciting life curve of the rider addressed the passing of his grandmother: “I came home from a football game and fell. With distress, I went to call my friends to help her sleep, I called 112. I remember it was yesterday when I explained what had happened. I broke my pelvis when I fell, became bedridden and left after a few months. I was completely helpless, my dad knew what happened and no one came to the front to help me and give me a roof.“.

Diogo Marquez tearfully revealed other details of living with his mother that proved crucial: “I started doing drugs at home and stole from me some of the money I earned. When I lost my love for her, I felt that my grandmother was the most important person in my life.“.
