Accompanying Enzo Fernandez, in Portugal, is an employee of businessman Uriel Pérez. It was with De9Fútbol representative Matias Toranzo that the 21-year-old midfielder was in Seixal yesterday, already reported that the negotiations between Benfica and Chelsea, the day before, did not result in white smoke.

Enzo Fernandez, as he is known, traveled to Argentina without permission and missed the first two training sessions of the year, on Monday. Thus, it is under the disciplinary jurisdiction of Benfica.

He trained on Tuesday and yesterday and he was also in Seixal, fully integrated. He arrived, it was said, accompanied by Matisse Toranzo, who was not seen inside the building.

Enzo Fernandez had breakfast in the training center, started preparing for the day with his colleagues in the gym and took part in the training led by Roger Schmidt, who had spoken with him the day before. He only left Seixal after eating lunch there.

He will hardly be in the starting line-up, tomorrow, against Portimonense, when Benfica returns to the championship, after the defeat in Braga, as Enzo Fernandez was on the field until the 89th minute, to be replaced by Chiquinho.

The decision to use Enzo Fernandez with the Argentines is now in the hands of Roger Schmidt. The German coach will have the opportunity, today, in a press conference, at 1 pm, to clarify whether he has Enzo for the match against Algarve.
