Internet phenomenon Felipe Neto claims StarPlusBR, which owns the rights to Portuguese league matches, has stopped broadcasting in Brazil

Felipe Neto, the well-known Brazilian YouTuber with more than 40 million followers on the online video platform, surprised FC Porto on Sunday with a special request. The Brazilian resorted to social networks to attract the attention of the dragons.

Neto wanted to watch, directly from Brazil, the FC Porto match, at home, against Famalicao, in the 16th round, but the task was not easy. The holder of the rights to broadcast the Portuguese league matches, StarPlusBR, has stopped broadcasting the matches of the Portuguese championship and YouTube has not been able to watch the match.

“I’ll switch to the FC Porto match which I earn more. By the way: the goal! I spoke too soon… I went to switch to the FC Porto match and StarPlusBR isn’t broadcasting anymore. I can’t understand. Please, FC Porto, we can’t watch your matches Here in Brazil. StarPlusBR, the rights holder, no longer broadcasts matches,” he wrote.
