On PC, the gamer will be able to increase the frame rate of the game without losing resolution when using Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR resources. There is also the option to use Nvidia NIS to increase game performance if the user does not have DLSS or FSR enabled hardware.

Returnal will also support Raytracing, just like on PlayStation 5, but will also support TR reflections on PC, which increases the contrast of a dark environment with neon flames. The game will have two new resolution options: Ultrawide 21:9 and Super Ultrawide 32:9.

Spooky space adventure

After crash-landing in this shape-shifting world, Celine must search the barren landscape of an ancient civilization to escape. Isolated and alone, she finds herself fighting tooth and nail for her very survival. Time and again she is defeated – and forced to resume her journey each time she dies.

Through a relentless dungeon-like RPG, you’ll discover that just as the planet changes with each cycle, so do the items at your disposal. Each episode introduces new combos, forcing you to push your limits and fight with a different strategy.
