Privacy issues have been raised regarding Tesla and how images captured by customers’ cars can be accessed and manipulated. For a long time, countless photos and videos have been shared without any consent…and Elon Musk doesn’t seem to have survived!

Some Tesla workers have been sharing sensitive photos and videos captured by the owners' car cameras with each other for several years, according to Reuters.  The information came from former employees who reported that colleagues shared the photos in chat groups and even in one-on-one communications between 2019 and 2022.
Where is the privacy of Tesla customers?
One reported example concerns a video showing a Tesla driving at high speed before hitting a child riding a bicycle.  Other videos included things like a naked man walking towards a car. 
According to reports:

We can see them [aos proprietários] Doing laundry and really intimate stuff.  We can see your children

The workers will have sent each other videos taken inside the Tesla owners' garage.  One clip allegedly showed a submerged white Lotus Esprit featured in the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.  By the way, Tesla CEO Elon Musk bought that car a decade ago, which indicates that his employees have been posting vehicle footage taken inside the company owner's garage.

For these former employees, this practice is a clear invasion of privacy.  One mentions that he even joked with his former classmates to say he would never buy a Tesla.
After all, where could pictures taken by your car, computer, smartphone, or TV go?  ...
