a A neighbor of William H. Macy’s is suing the actor for $600,000 (approximately €550,000). The 73-year-old artist is accused of cutting down trees for his neighbour, Pierce Brown, in December 2021.
“Several pine trees and other vegetation on Brown’s property were destroyed, removed, or severely damaged,” reads the lawsuit against the actor, which was filed last week in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Pierce Brown will be on vacation by then. In addition, his attorney, Benjamin L. Kaplan, claims that the actor “admitted to having his workers enter Brown’s property without his permission to do so, and to destroy, remove, and damage Brown’s trees and plants.”
The artist’s neighbor is asking for $600,000 for reasons including “loss of property value, loss of privacy, increased noise, emotional distress and discomfort.”
It should be remembered that William H. Macy has been married to Felicity Huffman since 1997 – an actress who was convicted of participating in a bribery network to facilitate her daughter’s admission to a prestigious American university.
