“I cried for 15 minutes”: Mimicat responds to Portugal’s place in Eurovision

Singer Mimicat, representative of Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, has already responded to the 23rd place occupied in the competition, admitting that this was the “business opportunity”.

In the letter, the artist revealed that she cried for 15 minutes after the performance, as she was in a state of full release from “adrenaline, emotion and gratitude.”
“This experience has no negatives. Everything is positive. There are no negative things here. The places don’t interest me, honestly. I couldn’t care less, let alone now,” he admitted.
The singer took the opportunity to thank the Portuguese public for the support he felt during Eurovision. “There was a very strong connection with our country that I will never forget,” the artist concluded.
Mimicat represented Portugal, under the slogan “Ai Coração” and was the second to take the stage in the Grand Final, having finished 23rd in the competition. Sweden was the winner in this event.
