Galp, BCP and Jerónimo Martins boost the national stock market. Motorcycle 9% scholarship

Galp, BCP and Jerónimo Martins boost the national stock market. bike climbing 9%

PSI ended up making gains, mainly driven by energy companies BCP and Jerónimo Martins, as owner Pingo Doce set a new historic high. Mota-Engil is up nearly 9%.

Here, the PSI ended up gaining 0.62%, to 5,953.65 points, with 11 points in green, four in red and one unchanged.

Energy gave some gas to the national benchmark, with focus on Galp which added 0.42% to 10.66 euros, in a session in which the European oil sector was on the rise.

EDP ​​also performed positively, jumping 0.54% to €4.636, and the renewable energies subsidiary posted a slight increase of 0.05% to €189.20.

In the same sector, Greenvolt crashed, dropping 1.03% to 6.23 euros, while REN remained unchanged at 2.54 euros.

Among the other highlights of the day, on the positive side, there was also Jeronimo Martins. Pingo Doce owner ended up rising 1.33% to €24.34 – at a new historic high.

BCP was another listed company that boosted the Lisbon market, advancing 0.62% to 21.11 cents.

The biggest rally today was by Mota-Engil, as the construction company closed the session up 8.88% to €2.145. This after yesterday after it was announced, In a statement to CMVMwhich signed contracts in Latin America worth 890 million euros.

In the paper sector, the trend was mixed. Simaba shares fell 0.15% to 13.44 euros, while Navigator added 0.81% to 3.244 euros and Altri recorded a 2.11% increase to 4.064 euros.
