“I’m happy to be at Everton and it’s a great time for me and my family to sign this new contract. It’s good to be back at Finch Farm and I’m excited for the new season. A lot has changed since I went on loan last season. There are new players, a new manager, so it will be A new beginning for me,” said the Portuguese goalkeeper, who last season was on loan at SC Cambuur, of the Eredivisie.
“Letting go and playing a different kind of football, in new countries, new cultures and new changing rooms makes us grow a lot. As a goalkeeper we need that. I want to play more and more. Obviously, at a big club like Everton it’s a big step but I want this.” The challenge group goalkeepers are very good and we have experience with them [Jordan] pickford f [Andy] Lonergan. I’m excited to work with them,” added the goalkeeper, who was loaned out in 2021/22 to Sporting.
