Benfica B in the summer championship final by eliminating Varzim

On Saturday, Benfica B qualified for the final of the summer tournament, which is being held in Beauvois de Varzim. After a 1-1 draw at the end of regular time, the team led by Nelson Verissimo won on penalties (5-3) against Varzim.

Without Paulo Bernardo and Martim Neto, who refused to play for the secondary national team, but with Rafael Rodriguez in the starting line-up, Benfica B witnessed the progress of coach Vitor Panera’s team, in the 30th minute, thanks to a goal from striker Nuno Pereira.
