It may be a symptom of thirstExcessiveness and a feeling of weakness. Dehydration occurs when our body begins to feel a lack of water in the body and begins to react with a series of problems and symptoms.

Prolonged exposure to sunlight can lead to dehydration, diarrhea and vomiting can exacerbate these conditions and can vary according to the degree of severity of the condition presented.

Symptoms of dehydration include:

  • Irritability, which is very common in children and results from an electrolyte imbalance.
  • Excessive fatigue is also a sign, as our body senses the lack of fluids and begins to feel weak caused by the elimination of salts such as sodium, potassium and calcium, which are essential for the body. Without it, our body becomes tired and muscle fatigue may appear.

In addition to staying hydrated, it is important not to despair when one of these symptoms begins to appear, as excess water consumption can be harmful and cause an imbalance in electrolytes, which are minerals found in our blood. Pay attention to whether this symptom is accompanied by other symptoms such as discolored urine and dry mouth.
