Today, November 16, Marta Cruz revealed, through an emotional post on social media, that her 18-year-old daughter, Yasmine, has begun the sex change process.
In a long text message, Carlos Cruz’s daughter indicated that she had always known that Jasmine felt like a boy, and showed that she was supporting her daughter 100% in this decision.
So Marta started by saying: “When we decide to put a life into this world, we have to realize that it will never be, nor should it be, a projection of our dreams. It was my first pregnancy and I prepared myself to be a mother to a girl. But I already knew, since you barely knew how to speak.”
“What has always mattered is your self-respect, your mental and physical health, the fulfillment of your dreams and your happiness! Do I have fears? I have many fears! How will I be able to protect you from them? “From all the prejudice, from all the evil and even negative comments? The answer is very simple: Most of the time I can’t and won’t, but I will always be here, for you and for you, against whatever comes.”Then Marta highlighted.
The former contestant on the reality show “A Quinta” continued: “Today I am shaking and emotional with you as you start taking your first hormones. Your smile on the date made me so emotional! I know I will smile even more when I see you looking at your body becoming what you always dreamed it would be and in an always perfect way. There is no way not to feel proud of someone like you! I am so grateful and happy to be your mother and to be able to provide all the support you need.”
Finally, Marta Cruz said: “I still make mistakes and I will make more in the process, but I will learn and dedicate myself day by day, and I want you to know that I will never let go of your hand. I love you.”
