Jesus Ramirez, the Nacional striker, was the star of the match by scoring a hat-trick. Sergio Conceicao was in the stands watching David Carmo's debut for Team B. Madeiran's second goal was hotly contested for the Dragons.

On Saturday, FC Porto B lost to Nacional 3-2, in the 15th round of the Second League, which was held at the Luis Felipe Menezes Stadium, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

David Carmo, who was removed from FC Porto's main squad due to “inappropriate behaviour”, was a starter in the duel against Madeiran. The centre-back, who had previously participated in 12 matches for the Dragons' starting team this season, contributed to scoring the first goal of the match, in the eighth minute. The 24-year-old defender was unable to stop the cross, and the ball reached Jesus Ramirez, who scored easily, due to the lack of pressure from Rodrigo Fernandez.

The centre-back has been removed from the Dragons' starting XI due to 'inappropriate behaviour'.

In the 37th minute, in a well-choreographed attacking match for Porto B, between Vasco, Marcos and Wendel, full-back José Gomez seriously injured his right knee and had to leave the field on a stretcher.

During extra time of the first half, Jorge Meireles was fouled by Joao Aurelio in the penalty area and the referee indicated the maximum penalty for Nacional. In the conversion, Brazilian Wendell did not make a mistake and scored his eleventh goal in the tournament, so the match ended in a draw in the first half.

In the second half, the Dragon team began trying to change the course of the match, and in the 59th minute they turned things upside down. Bernardo Folha, in the lane, found the ball and passed it to Jorge Meireles, who shot it accurately to make it 2-1.

Shortly afterwards, Nacional equalized again through Jesus Ramírez, but the goal was hotly contested by the Blue and White, who demanded the ball from Andre Sousa. In a VAR match, the referee confirmed the validity of this move. However, there was a lot of blame placed on Porto's backline. David Carmo and Romain Correa watched the Nacional striker calmly spin and shoot.

Porto's defense was certainly not at its best, and Nacional's third goal showed that, with a gift from captain Roman Correa to Ramirez, who showed his flair in goal by scoring a hat-trick in the 68th minute. This was the Venezuelan striker's ninth goal this season in the second league in His first season with Madeiran Club.

In the last match of the match, David Carmo came close to equalizing, but the Madeiran goalkeeper blocked the header of the 24-year-old Portuguese centre-back over the goal line.

With this result, Nacional temporarily rises to second place with 32 points, awaiting what the AVS team will do, which will play next January 20 at Belenenses Stadium. Antonio Folha's team maintains seventh place with 21 points, but can be overtaken by Tondela (20), Uniao Leiria (19) and Academico de Viseu (19), who will also play next month.
