The municipality explains that this visit came as part of “a working meeting held with the Municipality of Al-Justrel, which aimed to lay the foundations for future cooperation projects and exchange experiences between the different teams.”
The municipality states that “the municipal councils of Algostrell, Grandola and Mertola have previously met in this sense, in order to find mechanisms for understanding and permanent cooperation within the scope of the assessment of the mining and geological heritage of the areas concerned, with the aim of the social, cultural and economic development of the various municipalities.”
“This initiative also aims to contribute to preserving the culture and identity of these areas, in addition to giving a special vision to the heritage and geological resources, and contributing to the creation of roads and initiatives of an entertainment, educational, cultural, and scientific nature,” says the municipality of Algostrell.
