DrAfter many doubted that her face was very swollen and she explained that she had endometriosis, Amy Schumer returned to talking about her health again.
The 42-year-old comedian revealed that she has been diagnosed with Cushing's disease on Friday's edition of Jessica Yellen's “News Not Noise.”
“The majority of patients with Cushing’s disease have small tumors (microadenomas) in the pituitary gland,” according to CUF. They add: “It results from excessive production of the pituitary hormone called ACTH, which in turn causes the adrenal gland to produce cortisol higher than the levels necessary and desired for the body's normal functioning.”
