ShA video has gone viral showing a mother entering her daughter's wedding in New Orleans, US… and not for good reasons.
The photos were shared on TikTok last week, after her daughter tied the knot on June 1, showing Lori DeWitt entering church in a green floral dress, leaving the platform's users with their jaws dropped — but for many different reasons.
On the one hand, if there were those who complimented the mother, saying that “that was the most amazing mother's dress they had ever seen,” there were also those who pointed the finger. Many users felt this dress was “also” And that a mother should not “steal attention when it is her daughter's day.”
After the video spread and Lori DeWitt was criticized, the woman spoke to People magazine, saying that the dress was chosen with her daughters, including the girl whom Amanda married.
The bride's mother, who is now a wife, explained to the press that she had “no regrets” in choosing the dress she wore.
The woman did not stop there, as she encouraged other mothers to choose something that makes them feel beautiful and confident. “It was a fantastic weekend – Amanda and Andrew [noivo] They had great moments.”
