sNearly two months after Shiloh Pitt, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, asked to remove her father's surname from her name, the 18-year-old has completed the missing step to complete the process.
Shiloh announced the change publicly in the Los Angeles Times, saying her name from now on would simply be “Shiloh Jolie.”
California law requires that before a court will approve a name change, the person must advertise the event in a newspaper for one month.
Remember, days after the May filing, a source revealed that Brad was “upset.” “It reminds him that he lost his kids and of course it's not easy for him. He loves his kids and misses them. It's very sad,” the source said at the time.
Angelina and Brad have been divorced since 2016, and have six children together: Maddox, 22, Zahara, 19, Silvester and Pax, 20, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
