and It's possible that incorporating certain foods into the diet can help relieve migraine symptoms, says Phil Bianchi, food expert at The Gift Of Oil, quoted by the Daily Record. He also points to olive oil as one of the most beneficial products for individuals suffering from this problem.
He explains, “A new study shows that following a Mediterranean diet rich in healthy fats, such as extra virgin olive oil, can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks.”
According to the expert, “Oleocanthal, the powerful polythene found in olive oil, contains anti-inflammatory properties, which can help relieve pain when suffering from migraines.”
Ideally, you should consume “olive oil containing at least 250 milligrams (ml) of polyphenols per kilogram of olive oil” daily.
He adds: “Once you find the right oil, it is recommended that you try drinking about 20 ml, or a tablespoon, every morning on an empty stomach and wait 20 minutes before eating or drinking anything else.”
Supposedly, “this allows the oleocanthal to be absorbed into the bloodstream to work its ‘magic,’ resulting in a range of health benefits.”
