Amazon received a record 746 million euros fine for violating the RGPD – Technologies

Amazon has been fined 764 million euros by Luxembourg’s data protection commission, according to information in the statement the technology made available to Securities Commission United States (SEC). This is a standard value in terms of data protection.

In this statement, Amazon notes that it was fined on July 16, 2021, by the Luxembourg National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), “which issued a ruling against Amazon Europe Core, indicating that Amazon’s processing of personal data does not comply with the GDPR. “The decision imposes a fine of 746 million euros and corresponding revisions to the practices,” it can be read.
