A new special coating, applied to the Airbus A320 (HB-JLT) from Swiss airline Edelweiss, is promising to make an impact at European airports wherever they pass. I brought up a series of hands, in different directions painted bright red on the front of the plane, where passengers look at first place when they are in the terminal, ready to board.

The goal is really to make an impact, as hands point to the Help Alliance, founded by the Lufthansa Group, of which Edelweiss has been a part, for over twenty years. However, this is the first painting by the Lufthansa group to hint at the Aid Alliance.

In a note, the Swiss company commented that “Help Alliance and Edelweiss jointly support social projects in holiday destinations. Through our joint commitment, we have been able to give young people from Costa Rica, Vietnam, South Africa and Sri Lanka a better life through various projects in recent years”.

The Help Alliance is an aid organization for the Lufthansa Group and its employees and forms the mainstay of social activities in the area of corporate social responsibility. Like her, the Lufthansa Group has responsibilities beyond its usual business activities to deal with the challenges that society faces today.

Founded in 1999 by a group of 13 Lufthansa employees, this non-profit community currently has around 50 projects around the world specifically aimed at providing access to education to young people and enabling them to live a life of their own choosing.

In addition to our main field of activity, education, we also encourage entrepreneurship. In recent years, we have supported about 140 projects. The content of the projects is in all cases in line with the strict standards of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 2030 UN Sustainable Goals,” the company says on its official website.
