Apple launches iOS17: discover the new features

News also goes to voicemail, where the cell phone app transcribes received voicemail messages. This feature is only available in the United States and Canada at this time.

Facetime calls also allow you to send voicemails in video format when a person does not answer the call.

The new standby mode will allow your iPhone to become a small smart display that displays the time and photos among other information, and also allows you to interact with Siri. Interactions with the virtual assistant are now done using the word “Siri.”

In terms of security, users will have a check-in function, which allows them to share their location with family and friends. In addition to location, it also sends the device’s battery status.
