Apple is looking to finally get the Vision Pro headset into the hands of consumers, or at least consumers in the US. Tech giant Announce The Space PC headset will debut in the United States on February 2, 2024, and that pre-orders for the device will be available starting January 19, 2024.
“The age of spatial computing has arrived,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook. “Apple Vision Pro is the most advanced consumer electronics device ever. Its revolutionary Magic UI will redefine how we connect, create and explore.”

Vision Pro is a system that hopes to change the way we use computers to work and communicate. It uses the VisionOS operating system to blend digital content with the real world, while users can control and interact with the device using their eyes, hands and voice. It remains to be seen whether the device will be able to achieve such a massive feat.

What we do know is that the Vision Pro will retail starting at a whopping $3,499, with the price increasing depending on versions with larger built-in storage, and that consumers will also be able to spend money on additional extras like optical inserts for those who wear glasses ranging from Between $99 and $149.

As for when the rest of the world can get the Vision Pro, Apple hasn't announced a wider release date yet.
