Apple wants to find a solution to the weak demand for this equipment

Apple is concerned about weak demand for the iPhone 14 Plus. This smartphone was launched to replace the iPhone 13 mini, which was also a sales failure.

For now, the Cupertino company has two solutions on the table so as not to score this fiasco with the new iPhone 15 series.

iPhone 14 Plus was launched to replace the iPhone 13 mini, which had low market demand. But solving one problem brought another problem. If a compact smartphone doesn’t win over users, the model with a larger screen won’t get better results.

For now, Apple is trying to deal with the sales failure that the iPhone 14 Plus is experiencing. This model, in addition to the screen, also has a larger battery and is more expensive than the base model. It also does not include, like the iPhone 14, some of the new features offered by this generation of iPhone.

And such a situation seems to push users away. To avoid a new sales failure in the iPhone 15 series, Apple is currently studying solutions to prevent the next generation of iPhone from going through the same situation.

This information was provided by one of the latest rumors circulating in the web world. The same rumor adds that the Cupertino company is currently evaluating two possible solutions.

The first option is for the company to further differentiate the base models – where the Plus variant will be included – in the iPhone 15 generation. This solution was also developed by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

The second option is for Apple to lower the price of the Plus model. Of course, lowering the price on Apple models is always a good way to attract users. But this option would force Apple to lower the price of the base model as well.

According to the rumors, the idea is that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus may have the same price. Thus, with the same amount, users will have the opportunity to choose between a larger or smaller screen and battery.

At the moment, the company is studying solutions for the new iPhone 15 series, and by evaluating the history of Apple and taking the iPhone 13 mini as an example, it is unlikely that it will decide to change anything in the current sales strategy of the iPhone 14 Plus.

In other words, Tim Cook shouldn’t choose to lower the price of the current Plus model, which costs €1,189 in Portugal.
