It won't be long before Apple introduces a new version of the Apple Watch. There are rumors that the Model Among them is a magnetic mechanism that can extend battery life.

The current method of attaching straps involves sliding the end of the strap into a groove at the top and bottom of the watch.  This slot takes up enough space inside the device to prevent Apple from increasing the Apple Watch's battery life by adding a larger cell.

Since there is no slot to be cut at the top and bottom, as is currently the case, using a “handle” would leave more space inside the watch module for a larger battery.
Another change that was supposed to be made to the Apple Watch is brighter and more energy efficient.

A future Apple Watch model could provide an actual blood pressure reading to the user with individual systolic and diastolic numbers.  But for now, Apple will limit itself to warning users if their blood pressure is too high or too low.




It will also be interesting to see if Apple can reach an agreement with Masimo to bring the pulse oximeter back into the device.
As you probably know, Masimo sued Apple for patent infringement and an International Trade Commission judge ruled against Apple.  The ITC eventually issued an import ban Prevents Apple from selling the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the United States With pulse oximeter.

Masimo's patent expires in 2028, and if Apple doesn't want to wait until then to bring back the feature, it will have to either create a new sensor that doesn't infringe on the patent or shell out money to license it.
