ASUS Republic of Gamers reveals when a new monitor series will arrive

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announces the availability of OLED Swift Series gaming monitors. These displays feature the latest OLED panels that deliver greater efficiency and brighter images, as well as a sub-pixel layout that delivers extreme levels of detail and clearly defined text to refresh your viewing experience.

The 42-inch ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ monitor is engineered for immersive desktop gaming and displays 4K images at a refresh rate of over 138Hz. The OLED panel ensures the deepest blacks as well as stunning colors thanks to its 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and Delta E <2 color difference. In addition, the ultra-fast 0.1ms (GTG) response time ensures the optimal viewing and gaming experience. Plus, the 48-inch ROG Swift OLED PG48UQ is perfect for anyone looking to play their games on a larger scale.

ROG OLED displays include a dedicated heatsink that provides a larger heat exchange surface, lowering operating temperatures by up to 8% for better performance and longer OLED life.

Unlike glossy OLED panels, the panels in ROG OLED gaming monitors feature a special anti-glare micro-touch coating to reduce reflections to reduce distraction. There’s also an optional uniform brightness setting that maintains screen brightness for comfortable viewing when resizing bright white windows or during a gaming marathon.

G-SYNC compatible displays are designed for gamers looking to create the best desktop gaming setup. The 42-inch Swift OLED PG42UQ display delivers incredibly immersive visuals, and if that wasn’t enough, the 48-inch PG48UQ is also available. Both screens can display images up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at an amazing 138Hz (overclocked) refresh rate. Additionally, both displays feature a dedicated heatsink that efficiently cools the OLED panel, even during long gaming periods.

The heatsink lowers internal temperatures by up to 8% to allow better OLED performance and prevent image burn-in. The powerful fanless cooling system works silently to reduce distractions, allowing users to focus on their game.
