Arthur Gomez was presented Monday as a boost to Sporting. Remember, the 24-year-old Brazilian winger was the Lions’ latest signing, announced at the end of the transfer market, coming from Estoril.
“I am very happy, this is the fulfillment of a dream. I will do everything in my power to reward the confidence he has given me,” he said, speaking of what he could add to the team: “I don’t like defining who I am on the pitch. I hope to bring joy to the fans with a lot of Work. I will do my best and show why I came.”
When asked about Robin Amorim, Arthur Gomez praised Leonen as the helmsman.
“He is a great coach and he showed a lot of confidence in our first conversation. I will do everything to live up to his expectations.”
