Sporting secured the signature of Miara Nehes, an 18-year-old defensive midfielder, who arrived at Alvalade from Internacional in Porto Alegre (Brazil).

Brazil’s Under-20 player, Mayara Nehes is seen as an important booster to the team led by Mariana Cabral, in a deal brokered by Raquel Sampaio, CEO of Teammate Football Management.

Trained in Chapecoense, Mayara Nehes has always represented in her home country Irandopa and Recanto da Crianca, before that, in 2020, heading to Internacional de Porto Alegre, where she has been for the past two years. Between the youth level and the first team level, the defensive midfielder participated in 57 matches and scored 8 goals.

It follows the first trial in Europe, now in green and white, promising to be a staple for Sporting in the attack for the national title.

At the time of the official announcement of the contract with the Brazilian, Sporting informed that the contract is valid for three seasons, with another option, although the values ​​of the deal are unknown.
