Benfica and Porto reach the semi-finals with different stories – hockey

The Eagles beat Valongo, and the Dragons defeated Reba Davey on penalties

Benfica and Porto qualified for the semi-finals of the title play-off this evening, defeating their rivals again in the second match of the quarter-finals. Along the way are Valongo and Riba d'Ave.

But these qualifiers are a very different story, as the Eagles qualified with two fairly clear victories, while the Dragons had to sweat a lot in both.

After a 7-0 win in Luz, Benfica went to Valongo to win 4-2, but allowed the home team to get closer to the scoreboard, where they won 3-0 and 4-1. The champions' biggest arguments made the difference.

In the second match, FC Porto needed to resort to penalty kicks to overcome the ferocious Reba Devi, who responded at the Dragao Arena by losing 4-3. Tonight, they took the match to extra time after 3-3 in regular time, and tied again (4-4) in extra time, but fell on penalties, in which only Helder Nunes scored, thus giving his team the victory.

The Eagles and Dragons are now awaiting the results of the other two matches to find out the opponent they will face in the semi-finals, the second match of which will be held on Thursday.

Benfica will face the winner of the confrontation between Oliverense and OK Barcelos as the opponent, with Edu Bosch's team prevailing, but the second match will be at the Catedral Stadium, in a match that you can watch live on our website.

Porto will face Sporting OSP Tomar, with the Lions top of the tie after a 3-2 defeat at the Estadio Pavilhão João Rocha.
