Benfica crushes Famalicao with Kika. Nazareth in the spotlight – women’s football

The Portuguese international scored two goals in the match (5-0).

Benfica beat Famalicao 5-0 on Sunday, in a match played at Famalicao Municipal Stadium, and remain at the top of the BPI League after five rounds. In the first half, Andrea Faria made an assist for Kika Nazareth (40), who took advantage of the Famalicao goalkeeper to leave the goal and headed into the net. In the second half, Benfica increased their lead. First by Jessica Silva in the 55th minute, then by Andrea Faria (69), who made her first appearance this season. Three minutes later, Kika Nazareth started a counterattack and scored two goals after Nicole’s pass. In stoppage time, the Eagles scored another goal through Marta Sintra (90+1), who completed the quadruple from a direct free kick.

With this result, Benfica continues to lead the league with 15 points. Sp Braga, which beat Länk Vilaverdense on Saturday (4-2), is in second place, two points behind. Completing the podium is Damianse (1-0), who succeeded in defeating Valladares. Sporting, which played at Alvalade Stadium on Saturday and beat Torense 3-0, is in fourth place with 10 points.
