The trip to Rome to face Lazio brought back Sergio Conceicao’s memories of his time at the Italian club. Timeless memories at the Lazio Museum where the former Portugal international’s jerseys are on display.
“It was a very special moment for me and my family too. Those were the golden years in Rome, thanks mainly to Lazio. Seeing my name among the other great champions was one of the highlights of the trip to Italy, my second home”, wrote the FC Porto coach On social media, after the previous team was expelled from the European League.

Sergio Conceicao represented Lazio between 1998 and 2000 and in the service of the Romans he won the championship, the Italian Cup and the Super Cup along with players such as Alessandro Nesta, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Diego Simeone, Pavel Nedved, Juan Sebastian Veron, Fabrizio Ravanelli and his compatriot.
