British Health Minister resigns after being kissed in pictures – VG

Hancock was in bad weather after British media published surveillance footage of him kissing his chief adviser. Hancock is married to another woman, but the criticism has been that the kiss was a violation of infection control rules.

The photos will be from May 6, more than a week before the social distancing rules for people from different households were scrapped.

Hancock has previously apologized for the incident and said he was “extremely sorry”.

On Saturday evening, he posted a video on Twitter in which he again apologizes and says he was with Prime Minister Boris Johnson and resigned from the position.

I understand the enormous sacrifices made by every individual in this country. as I did. He says in the video that those who set the rules must follow them and that’s why I have to withdraw.

According to the BBC, Hancock now writes in a letter to the prime minister that the government “owes it to the people who have sacrificed so much in this pandemic to be honest when we have let them down”. He also repeats his apologies and apologizes to the family and loved ones.

The last thing I want is for my private life to distract attention from focusing on getting us out of this crisis, says the former Minister of Health.

Photos of Hancock first appeared in print in the British tabloid The Sun, which claims he and the chancellor have known each other since they studied together at Oxford some 20 years ago.
