Bruno Lage receives a 'weight boost' for Benfica-Atletico Madrid

forRuno Lage already knows that he will be able to count on Orkun Kukcu in the most conceptually complex challenge since his return to Benfica, replacing Roger Schmidt, as he faces the 'mighty' Atletico Madrid.

According to information provided in Tuesday's edition of O Jogo, the Turkish international was re-evaluated by the Reds' medical department, after being substituted as a precaution, in the final phase of last weekend's defeat against Gil. Vicente 5-1.

The former Feyenoord player was seen on the ice on the bench, but no serious injury has been revealed, so the expectation is that he will be deemed fit to play in the second round of the renewed Champions League phase.

This means that the only two 'headaches' for the Eagles will be Renato Sanchez and Thiago Gouveia, in the match scheduled for 8pm (Portugal mainland time) next Wednesday, at the Estadio da Luz.
