Carlos Vinicius Benfica recalls: “I achieved the greatest single achievement of my career there.” – International

I scored very important goals and managed to play good football. It was a great moment.” The Brazilian, who hasn’t played much with Jorge Jesus, presumably learned a lot. “He’s a great professional and that explains the success he’s had at Flamengo. He wrote history there and he is very credited with that.” On the future, Vinicius says he is only focusing on PSV. “I only think about playing, scoring and making the fans happy. I am very happy here at the club, I am happy with this opportunity and I will do my best to achieve the collective goals of the club. I am adapting more day by day, the integration. I am in the group. I feel really good here, happy to wear the shirt A team that has a lot of tradition in Europe and I hope to continue to improve and help the club.”

The Brazilian striker also recalled his tenure with Tottenham, the club where he had the opportunity to work with Jose Mourinho. “It was a great experience. Wearing the Tottenham shirt, playing with great players, working with Jose Mourinho, playing in the Premier League… It was amazing to be surrounded by so many stars and with a great coach. I learned a lot there. And I developed a lot.”
