During SmackDown on Friday, there was a showcase for Asuka’s new Women’s Championship, which was interrupted by Charlotte Flair.
The ceremony was hosted by Adam Pearce, who quickly invited Raw Women’s Champion Asuka to the ring and presented her with the new WWE Women’s Championship, in hues of white and gold.
Before the Empress of Tomorrow could speak, Charlotte Flair took her back.
“The Queen” states that she should not wait for an opportunity to capture the title, and although no one respects Asuka more than she does, she wants the WWE Women’s Championship.
Asuka accepted the challenge presented by the returning fighter, but ended up failing when she tried to spit mix up In front of Charlotte Flair.

Behind the scenes, it was announced that Asuka would defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair on SmackDown, which preceded Money in the Bank, on June 30.
